भाग्य कुछ होता नहीं है,
जो भी है संयोग है।
कुछ सहज हैं,
कुछ कठिन हैं,

हमको बनाते आम मानव
वाकई महत्व उनका।*
There's
no such thing as destiny. There are only different choices. Some
choices are easy, some aren't. Those are the really important ones, the
ones that define us as people
जब हम सेतुबंध तक आते
करते पार, जलाते पीछे ।
धूम्र-गंध से अधिक न कुछ भी
रहता शेष दिखा पायें हम
उन्नति कहकर।
नयन हमारे सजल हुए थे
रहती है अनुभूति साथ यह।
