इस तरह की कविता में किसी कहावत या पंक्ति को आदि से अंत तक एक अंतराल के बाद और कभी प्रत्येक बंद के अंत में दोहराया जाता है! गीत में किसी कहावत, मुहावरे या लोकोक्ति को स्थायी या मुखड़े की तरह प्रयोग करें तो वह पुनरुक्ति काव्य होगा। दोहराव की पंक्तिया एक या एकाधिक भी हो सकती हैं।
